Webinars with full E-Commerce Integration: Building on this growing ecosystem, MYCommunityToday is now expanding its platform with planned Paid Webinar capabilities, designed to provide businesses, organizations and other hosts with additional opportunities to organize, manage and monetize online webinars and sessions.

The planned functionality will enable hosts to establish pricing for paid webinars, with attendee payments processed during registration through Authorize.net, MYCT’s existing payment processor. MYCT will collect and track attendee payments while maintaining records associated with commissions, refunds and host balances throughout the transaction lifecycle.
The Paid Webinar functionality is designed to support Public and Private Webinars and multiple webinar formats, including Single Webinars, Recurring Series and Multi-Session Choice webinars.

For Multi-Session Choice webinars, individual sessions can be managed independently, including session-specific pricing, registration, payment records and refund status. This structure is designed to provide hosts with greater flexibility when organizing and offering multiple webinar sessions.

The planned system also includes capacity controls for public webinars. Before payment is initiated, the platform is designed to verify seat availability to help prevent attendees from being charged after the maximum participant capacity has been reached. The functional requirements also include safeguards intended to prevent simultaneous registrations from exceeding available capacity.
Under the planned payment model, attendee payments will be collected by MYCT, while host earnings will not be released immediately upon registration. After the applicable webinar or session is completed, MYCT will calculate applicable commissions and refunds, and the eligible remaining balance will become available for the host to claim according to the platform’s payout process.

The system is also designed to maintain detailed records associated with payments, currencies, commissions, refunds and payout status, helping provide transaction traceability throughout the webinar payment lifecycle.

Under the planned payment model, attendees pay MYCT during registration, while MYCT tracks the applicable payment, commission, refunds and host balance. After the webinar or applicable session is completed, the eligible net amount becomes claimable by the host, subject to the platform’s applicable payout and clearing rules.

The system is also designed to maintain detailed transaction records, including payment amounts, currency, commission, refunds, Authorize.net transaction references and payout status. This provides a traceable financial record for webinar hosts and MYCT.
