TAIPEI, Taiwan, Sept. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Kensho and leading quantum computing software company Classiq today announced that they have entered into a market development partnership agreement to expand access to the Classiq quantum software platform in Taiwan. Kensho will leverage its existing customer network to introduce the platform to government agencies, research institutions and enterprises, while providing local support and training, and exploring joint R&D initiatives.
The initial focus of the partnership will be on chemical and materials companies, defense organizations, and organizations evaluating quantum computing to address simulation and optimization challenges. Kensho has extensive experience in the distribution of advanced semiconductor equipment and automation systems, providing a strong local foundation for introducing advanced quantum algorithm capabilities. Classiq’s hardware-independent platform automatically converts high-level functional models into optimized, hardware-executable quantum circuits, enabling organizations to flexibly deploy quantum applications across different quantum hardware and cloud environments.

Fu-Hsin Hsiao, Chairman of Kensho, said, “Taiwan is gradually gaining access to more quantum hardware, but hardware alone is not enough to build practical applications. Classiq provides the software layer needed to transform domain expertise into quantum programs, enabling us to offer customers a complete path from technology evaluation to application development.”
Nir Minerbi, co-founder and CEO of Classiq, said, “Taiwan has strong semiconductor expertise, advanced research capabilities, and a growing demand for new computing technologies. Kensho understands the local technology environment, and together we will provide trusted local support to help customers develop quantum software with cross-platform portability.”
The two companies expect to support organizations in building internal quantum capabilities and identifying optimal use cases in areas such as materials research and complex optimization. The two companies will introduce this partnership during SEMICON Taiwan 2026.
- Exhibition Venue: Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1, 1F
- Booth No.: K2483
Classiq will demonstrate its platform, while Kensho will assist in arranging meetings with local customers.
About Kensho
Founded in 1986, KENSHO initially focused on representing overseas manufacturers of factory automation equipment, machinery, and components. We have helped customers implement automation solutions to reduce production costs and improve overall manufacturing efficiency. Through decades of accumulated industry experience and market expertise, KENSHO has established a solid sales foundation and long-standing relationships with customers.
As the semiconductor, optoelectronics, and other advanced technology industries have continued to evolve, KENSHO has continuously expanded its business portfolio by introducing advanced international technologies and solutions, including high-tech manufacturing equipment, semiconductor inspection and metrology equipment, silicon photonics equipment, and related technologies. We are committed to bringing cutting-edge global technologies and products to the Taiwan market, helping our customers enhance their technological capabilities and competitiveness.
In recent years, KENSHO has further expanded into the field of quantum technology. Since 2025, we have introduced quantum computing technologies from Germany, quantum algorithms from Japan, and other related quantum technology solutions to Taiwan. At the same time, we have been actively promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange between international quantum technology companies and Taiwan’s research institutions, universities, and industries.
In March 2026, under the guidance of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), KENSHO co-organized the Q2T Taiwan Quantum Computing Forum with the Institute for Information Industry (III). The forum brought together international and local experts, research institutions, universities, and industry leaders to exchange ideas and explore opportunities in quantum computing. The event received strong interest and positive responses from Taiwan’s research, academic, and industrial communities, marking an important milestone in KENSHO’s evolution from a traditional high-tech equipment representative into an active promoter of Taiwan’s emerging quantum technology ecosystem.
KENSHO has always been committed to our core philosophy of “Delivering superior service quality to meet the high expectations of our customers.” Guided by integrity and professionalism, we value teamwork and a shared commitment to sustainable growth.
Looking ahead, KENSHO will continue to leverage our decades of industry experience and international partnerships to introduce more advanced technologies and innovative solutions from around the world, create greater value for our customers, and pursue steady and sustainable growth.
