Conti Federal Services, LLC, a leading federal construction and design-build firm, has been awarded a $55.4 million firm-fixed-price contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Seattle District to construct a new Special Tactics Complex for the Oregon Air National Guard’s 125th Special Tactics Squadron (STS) in Portland, Oregon.
The project will consolidate the 125th STS’s functions from several older facilities into a centrally located complex designed to improve the unit’s ability to conduct and support its mission. The new complex will bring together operational, training, logistics, maintenance and support functions within a coordinated campus.
Conti Federal’s scope includes construction of specialized spaces supporting assigned training and simulation functions, as well as industrial functions including vehicle maintenance, logistics and storage. Supporting infrastructure will include associated site development, utilities, parking and other required facility systems.
“This award reflects Conti Federal’s understanding that these facilities have to support the people who rely on them and the missions they carry out every day,” said Carina Branch, Business Development Associate at Conti Federal. “We are proud to partner with the USACE Seattle District and the Oregon Air National Guard to deliver a modern facility that brings critical functions together and provides the 125th Special Tactics Squadron with infrastructure built to support its mission for years to come.”
The award expands Conti Federal’s portfolio of mission-critical facilities and infrastructure supporting U.S. government including a recently completed Aircraft Complex at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, and F-35A Flight Simulators and Squadron Opps at Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, and that SOF Special Tactics Operations Facility at Hurlburt Field. Conti Federal is committed to delivering differently for our warfighters through its Done Once, Done Right approach to collaborative delivery, aligning stakeholders around mission readiness.
Construction is expected to be completed in May 2029.
