PERTH, Australia, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — via IBN — Globavend Holdings Limited (NASDAQ: GVH) (“Globavend” or the “Company”), an emerging AI-powered digital entertainment company and e-commerce logistics provider, today announced the expansion of its digital entertainment platform into the live entertainment business through its subsidiary, Loomi Entertainment Group Limited (“Loomi”).
Loomi will organize the 2026 OK TAECYEON FANMEETING IN MACAU ‘TodaY’ on Nov. 14, 2026, at The Grand Hall, Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau. The event will mark K-pop star OK TAECYEON’s first solo fan meeting in Macau and Globavend’s first organizer-led live entertainment event outside Hong Kong.
The expansion builds on Globavend’s strategic investment and co-organizer role in the MAMAMOO 2026 WORLD TOUR <4WARD> Hong Kong, for which all tickets made available have sold out.
Globavend believes the sold-out MAMAMOO concert and the upcoming OK TAECYEON fan meeting demonstrate the potential to extend its existing digital entertainment operations horizontally into concerts, fan meetings and other live experiences.
Independent industry research estimates that the Southeast Asian live entertainment market was valued at approximately US$5.97 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach approximately US$10 billion by 2034, representing a compound annual growth rate of approximately 5.87% from 2026 to 2034. Music concerts were the market’s largest event segment in 2025.
Expanding from Digital Content to Live Entertainment
Through Loomi, Globavend has established digital entertainment capabilities spanning intellectual-property development, AI-assisted content production, multilingual content distribution and mobile streaming.
The Company’s expansion into live entertainment adds a new complementary business vertical covering event investment, organization and promotion. Globavend expects the expansion to increase its participation across the entertainment value chain and create potential revenue opportunities from ticket sales, sponsorships, merchandising, artist collaborations, content rights and intellectual-property commercialization.
“Our expansion into live entertainment is a natural extension of Globavend’s digital entertainment strategy,” said Kenny K. M. Fung, Chairman of Globavend. “We are moving beyond the creation and distribution of digital content to participate directly in live experiences that connect artists with audiences.”
“The sold-out MAMAMOO Hong Kong concert provides encouraging validation of regional demand for premium Asian entertainment,” Fung continued. “By organizing OK TAECYEON’s first solo fan meeting in Macau, we are advancing from strategic investment and co-organization to direct event organization, further broadening our operating capabilities and commercial participation.”
Globavend believes its digital and live entertainment businesses can generate complementary opportunities. Digital content and distribution channels may support artist promotion, localized marketing and audience development, while live events may generate new content, commercial partnerships and longer-term fan engagement across digital platforms.
Building on Sold-Out MAMAMOO Ticket Sales
Globavend entered the live entertainment sector through Loomi’s strategic investment in the MAMAMOO 2026 WORLD TOUR <4WARD> Hong Kong. Loomi serves as an official co-organizer of the concert and is entitled to a pro rata share of its economic returns based on its capital contribution.
All tickets made available for the MAMAMOO Hong Kong concert have sold out. The concert is scheduled for Oct. 4, 2026, at Kai Tak Arena in Hong Kong.
The ticket sell-out represents an important commercial milestone for Globavend’s entertainment strategy and strengthens Loomi’s relationships with artists, talent agencies, promoters, venues, sponsors and other entertainment-industry partners.
With the OK TAECYEON fan meeting, Loomi is expanding its role from investor and co-organizer to organizer. This progression is expected to give the Company broader exposure to the commercial and operational components of live entertainment.
Macau Establishes First Organizer-Led Regional Footprint
Macau will become Globavend’s first organizer-led live entertainment footprint outside Hong Kong and the initial step in its planned expansion across Greater China and Southeast Asia.
The Company believes Macau’s tourism infrastructure, integrated resorts, international visitor base and proximity to major population centers in the Greater Bay Area make it an attractive market for concerts, fan meetings and premium entertainment experiences.
Globavend intends to use the Macau event to strengthen its event-management capabilities and regional network of artists, talent agencies, promoters, venues, sponsors and ticketing partners. The Company plans to evaluate further opportunities across Southeast Asia based on audience demand, artist appeal, venue infrastructure, local partnerships, regulatory requirements and anticipated commercial returns.
“Macau provides a strategic first footprint for the regional expansion of our live entertainment business,” Fung said. “Our objective is to develop a scalable platform capable of organizing, investing in and commercializing premium entertainment experiences across Greater China, Southeast Asia and other selected Asian markets.”
Targeting a US$5.97 Billion Addressable Market
Independent industry research valued the Southeast Asian live entertainment market at approximately US$5.97 billion in 2025 and projects that it will grow to approximately US$10 billion by 2034.
Globavend believes this addressable market is supported by rising disposable incomes, expanding venue infrastructure, increased spending on experiences, a young and digitally engaged population and growing international demand for Asian music, television and film talent.
The Company’s potential addressable opportunities extend beyond event ticket sales to sponsorships, merchandise, artist partnerships, content production, intellectual-property rights and technology-enabled fan engagement.
Globavend currently operates Loomi: Short Drama, a mobile streaming platform offering professionally produced multilingual micro dramas, and Imaginary, its proprietary AI-powered cinematic production platform. The Company intends to explore opportunities to apply these capabilities to the live entertainment business through promotional content, localized audience engagement, post-event media and digital commercialization.
“Our strategy is to build an integrated entertainment ecosystem spanning digital content, proprietary technology, distribution and live experiences,” Fung concluded. “We believe this horizontal expansion gives Globavend access to a broader addressable market and multiple potential revenue channels across the entertainment value chain.”
