New partnerships in Alaska and Oklahoma extend the national school communication firm’s crisis service to more than 3,500 public school districts
MILWAUKEE, WI, UNITED STATES, October 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — School and district leaders in Alaska and Oklahoma now have around-the-clock access to experienced crisis communication professionals through new partnerships between the Donovan Group and two statewide education associations: the Alaska Council of School Administrators (ACSA) and the Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administrators (CCOSA).
The agreements bring the Donovan Group’s statewide crisis communication service to 15 states and more than 3,500 public school districts.
Through the partnerships, ACSA and CCOSA members can reach Donovan Group crisis communication professionals 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, at no additional cost. The service supports a wide range of situations, including student and staff incidents, emergencies, media inquiries, community concerns, and other circumstances that call for timely, strategic communication.
Alaska and Oklahoma join statewide partners in Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
“When the Donovan Group started in 2004, the mission was to help Wisconsin school leaders communicate with the honesty and transparency their communities deserve. That mission hasn’t changed. What has changed is how many school leaders we get to serve,” said Steve Bailey, partner at Donovan Group. “Reaching 15 states through these statewide partnerships is a milestone for our team, and it reflects something we hear from superintendents everywhere: they want a partner who understands public schools and picks up the phone when it matters most. We’re grateful to ACSA and CCOSA for their confidence in us, and proud to be the largest firm in the country dedicated exclusively to public school communication.”
Crisis communication is one part of the Donovan Group’s work. The firm provides a full range of communication services to public school districts and education organizations, including school public relations, strategic communication planning, ballot measure campaign support, community surveys, professional learning, graphic design and branding, video production and social media content.
“When urgent or complex situations arise, district leaders can pick up the phone and know they have an experienced team ready to help,” said Brooke Pisciotto, Director of Communication Strategy at the Donovan Group. “Our team is proud to support school leaders during some of their most challenging moments.”
